Raiders' Bush May Play Sunday

Last week, Oakland Raiders running back Michael Bush had a broken thumb and a prognosis that he'd be sidelined for a month.

Bush must be kind of a quick heal. He suited up and participated in Raiders practice Monday, the Oakland Tribune reports, and may play this weekend in the Raiders' Week 1 opener in Tennessee.

"He did some individual work, caught the ball, ran some routs, carried it a little bit," coach Tom Cable told the Tribune.

Eyewitness Raider-watcher Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Bush was going through "most" drills, and the "wrap on (his) thumb looks smaller."

Bush was the Raiders leading rusher last season, and averaged nearly five yards a carry.
