In just a few hours, Raider Nation, you'll get your first look at new quarterback Jason Campbell, your first look at the ballyhooed Hue Jackson offense, and -- most importantly -- your first look at those silver helmets flying around in a competitive professional football game for the first time in over seven months.
The Raiders kick off their 2010 preseason tonight at 6 p.m. PDT at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Best case scenario is that they end their season there as well. It's the site of Super Bowl XLV.
But the preseason opener is a little tougher to find on the TV and radio than is the Super Bowl. Raiders fans looking to catch the game live will have to find a UHF channel called Action 36, or listen via KFRC or Live 105.
Dallas is already coming off a win. Their first, second, and third teams looked pretty good in Sunday's 16-7 exhibition victory over the Bengals.
Raiders coach Tom Cable told Sports Illustrated that Campbell would only play the first quarter.
But if you've been seven months without Raider football, even Kyle Boller and Colt Brennan might seem like must-see TV.
