The Raiders are giving up on being conservative and going a little rock and roll. Modern rock to be exact.

After six years of struggling to find a relevant home on the radio, Oakland's football team signed a new radio deal Wednesday.

The team said its games will be carried in the Bay Area on KFRC 1550 AM and 105.3 FM, otherwise known as Live 105, the former home of Howard Stern.

The San Francisco Business Times reports that KSFO tried to retain the team but its offer was not sweet enough.
