Rookie receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is inactive for a second straight week for the Oakland Raiders because of a foot injury.

The Raiders also placed left guard Robert Gallery on injured reserve before Sunday’s game against Washington and signed Roy Schuening from the practice squad. Other players inactive are receivers Javon Walker and Nick Miller, linebacker David Nixon, defensive lineman William Joseph and offensive lineman Khalif Barnes.

The Redskins are without two defensive starters for the game, with defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth sidelined by a sprained left ankle and cornerback DeAngelo Hall a former Raider out with a sprained right knee. Other inactives are fullback Mike Sellers; offensive linemen Paul Fanaika and D’Anthony Batiste; linebacker Alvin Bowen and defensive end Renaldo Wynn.
