It looks like the Giants World Series MVP will be wearing red instead of orange in 2011.

Several media outlets, including one in his native Colombia, are reporting Edgar Renteria has signed with the Cincinnati Reds.

Renteria did not have a good season for San Francisco, but peeked at just the right moment to help his team win the championship and himself with the MVP.

The close of the season was also the close of Renteria's 2-year $18.5 million contract.

Comcast Sports Bay Area reported earlier this week that Renteria was talking to the Giants about a one year $1 million deal.

The deal with the Reds is reportedly $3 million.
