No Randy Johnson?  No problem.

A near blown save by Brian Wilson?  No problem.

Nothing much seems to bother the Giants this season as they edged the visiting Florida Marlins 5-4 on Monday night.

Pablo Sandoval smacked his first career grand slam in the 5th inning and improved his chances to secure the final spot on the National League All-Star squad.  Matt Cain -- who has already has been named an All-Star -- pitched into the 7th inning and improved to 10-2 on the season.

Before the game, Randy Johnson was placed on the 15-day disabled list (strained shoulder).  Jonathan Sanchez will replace the 45 year-old Johnson in the rotation.

The Giants moved to within seven games of the first place Dodgers (who were idle on Monday) and continue to lead the Wild Card race.

Barry Zito pitches Tuesday night against Florida's Josh Johnson.
