Shark Thankfully Back on Home Ice

Sharks fans grew even more gray hair last night as they had to stick through yet another overtime game against the Colorado Avalanche.

This time, at least, it ended with a cheer instead of a jeer as Joe Pavelski scored a goal 10:24 after regulation.

Sharks win 2-1 tying the series at two games each.

Game 5 is tomorrow night at The Tank.

The Avalanche sure aren't going down as easily as most expected. All of the games have been decided by just one goal and three of the four have gone to overtime.

Tuesday night's game-winner happened when Pavelski caught a loose puck deep in Colorado's zone and then beat Craig Anderson with a shot into the right corner.

Evgeni Nabokov had another outstanding game, stopping 33 shots.

The bad luck man of Game 3, Dan Boyle, got it in the correct net early Tuesday knocking in a slap shot.   Boyle is the poor guy who scored on his own goalie in overtime Sunday.

The Sharks are holding a practice Wednesday and by all accounts the team remains confident they can move on the next round on their way to the Stanley Cup.
