Sharks Battle Off The Ice

Setoguchi uses Twitter to help charity

Two Sharks players are battling it out off the ice.

What started out as a friendly battle for twitter followers between top rookie forward Logan Couture and his teammate Devin Setoguchi has now turned into a charity case.

At first, Setoguchi was offering a signed stick to go along with four game tickets once he reached the 10,000 Twitter-follower mark. Now he has raised the stakes and is offering $5,000 to cancer research if he reaches 15,000 followers by March 15.
“Alright decided that 15000 followers by March 15th will donate 5000 dollars to cancer? I’ll leave it up to u guys now!” Setoguchi later revealed that no matter what he is still going to donate the money, “Will donate money either way... But would still like 15000 by March 15...”
Currently Logan Couture is leading Devin Setoguchi in followers 11,941 to 7,899. Couture is also leading Setoguchi and the rest of the Sharks in goals scored this season with 25.
