Take Trayvon Bromell's Big 12 vs SEC All-Stars 4×100 Meters Poll

Whether in the Olympics or at the collegiate level, Track and Field is comprised of a lot of friendly (and sometimes not-so-friendly) competition.

Rivals often chirp at one another in displays of braggadocio.

And sometimes they tweet.

On Wednesday morning, United States and Baylor University star sprinter Trayvon Bromell took to Twitter to post a poll asking who would win a 4x100 meters dash between a lineup of four of his fellow Big 12 greats and a similarly stacked quad of Southeastern Conference standouts.

Bromell’s imaginary Big 12 All-Star team is comprised of Oklahoma State’s John Teeters, Bromell himself, and a pair of Texas Christian University Horned Frogs: Ronnie Baker and Kolby Listenbee.

His fictitious SEC squad includes Tennessee’s Christian Coleman, Arkansas’s Jarrion Lawson, and two Louisiana State University Tigers: Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake and Tremayne Acy.

Bromell’s Twitter poll concluded just before noon on Thursday, and in the opinions of 59 percent of 1,256 Twitterati, Bromell’s Big 12 lineup would run away with his faux title.
