Jockey Calvin Borel rode Super Saver to win the 136th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, his third win in four years. The win ended trainer Todd Pletcher's Derby drought.

Pletcher came into the race 0 for 24, but Borel's record-breaking win put Super Saver and the trainer in the winner's circle at Churchill Downs. No jockey has ever won three races in four consecutive years -- until now.

Super Saver covered the 1 1/4-miles in 2:04.45, as the second-choice behind Lookin At Lucky. He paid $18, $8.80 and $6 to win. Second palce finisher Ice Box paid $11.20 and $8, after beating out Paddy O'Prado at the wire. Paddy O'Prado paid $7.40 to show.

Lookin At Lucky became the day's favorite after Pletcher pulled another of his horses, Eskendereya, from the race last weekend with an injury in his left front leg. In the end, Lookin At Lucky was anything but, finishing sixth.
