Raider Nation had to feel pretty tough when ESPN The Magazine's 2010 NFL Preview hit the stands last week. In an informal poll of NFL players, Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour was named "Last Player You'd Want to Run Into During a Sideline-Emptying Brawl."
Nation, that Raider shield doesn't look so tough today.
For reasons that would make sense only to him or MC Hammer, University of Miami starting quarterback Jacory Harris attended classes Thursday in a visually outlandish pair of Oakland Raiders shorts-overalls and no shirt. He then tweeted photos of this atrocity all over the Internet.
"Going to class with an Oakland Raiders snap back, no shirt, with the Oakland raiders overalls! Fly!" Harris announced on his Twitter page, with a link to the picture.
Mr. Harris, we appreciate the shout-out on opening weekend but you look like the Village People in pajamas.
Harris is a legitimate top NCAA quarterback this season and a Heisman Trophy candidate. But he won't be winning any NCAA distinctions for taste in clothing.
Harris and his No. 12 Miami Hurricanes play No. 2 Ohio State in this weekend's biggest college football game.
