Injury Report: 49ers List Four as Questionable Against Bills

Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks is listed as questionable for the 49ers’ game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills due to a groin injury, the team announced on Friday.

Brooks, who started the first five games of the season, has been limited at practices this week with the condition. Brooks leads the 49ers with two sacks.

Brooks is one of four players the 49ers listed as questionable for the game.

Cornerback Jimmie Ward was ruled out for a third consecutive game with a right quad strain. He was expected to be out four to six weeks from the time of his injury. He went down on Sept. 25 while covering a kickoff against the Seattle Seahawks.

First-round draft pick DeForest Buckner (foot) is in danger of missing his second consecutive game. He was injured late in the 49ers’ Oct. 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Buckner joins Brooks, defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey (knee) and safety Jaquiski Tartt as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Tight end Vance McDonald is expected back after missing two games with a hip injury. The 49ers did not list McDonald on their injury report. In three games, McDonald has five receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
