Tartt, Davis Sit Out 49ers' Practice on Tuesday

SANTA CLARA – Safety Jaquiski Tartt did not participate in practice on Tuesday due to an unknown condition.

NFL teams are not required to submit participation reports on Tuesdays before Sunday games, but Tartt and offensive lineman Anthony Davis (concussion) were spotted in the team's weight room as practice began on Tuesday.

The 49ers return to action on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Tartt played 21 snaps on defense in the 49ers' 46-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He also participated in 20 plays on special teams.

Tartt opened training camp on the active/non-football injury list with a quadriceps injury. He could see more playing time in the 49ers' nickel defense with linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong expected to be out for the season with a pectoral injury.

Anthony Davis has not been cleared for football activity after being diagnosed with a concussion following the 49ers' padded practice on Thursday. He did not travel with the team on Friday for the game against the Panthers.
