The A's used a solid performance from Jharel Cotton and an uncoventional way to score runs to take down the Astros, 3-2, Sunday in Houston.
Cotton pitched 6 2/3 innings and only allowed four hits and two earned runs. He improved to 6-10 on the season.
The A's scored their runs on a Little League home run from Marcus Semien that conisted of two errors and a passed ball on a swing and miss.
On the season, the A's are now 54-70.
