The Giants will have new base coaches in 2017.
Roberto Kelly will not be the third base coach and Bill Hayes will not be the first base coach, GM Bobby Evans announced on Thursday.
Kelly just completed his second season after spending the prior seven years as the Giants' first base coach.
Before Hayes succeeded Kelly at first base, he was the team's bullpen catcher the previous 13 seasons.
