NBA Draft: Sacramento Kings Must Address Their Backcourt

With the NBA Draft a week away, the experts at Rotoworld.com continue their analysis of the 15 teams in the Western Conference. For the Sacramento Kings, who finished third in the Western Conference's Pacific Division and 16 games below .500, the needs are many.

Needs: Point guard, perimeter shooting

Dave Joerger takes over as head coach, which should help shore up the Kings on the defensive end, though they need to find some backcourt talent, especially with Rajon Rondo a free agent, and Darren Collison dealing with off-court issues. They could have an answer at the point guard position in Vanderbilt's Wade Baldwin, who is good in the open floor, and can knock down shots, but can be a bit wild, or even Kris Dunn, if he happens to drop. They may also be able to help their shooting if Buddy Hield or Jamal Murray drop to number eight. Also, depending on how the first seven picks go, they may have a shot at Marquese Chriss, a Sacramento-area native, who has a bright future.
