Report: McGee Scheduled to Meet With Kings

JaVale McGee is an unrestricted free agent.

And the NBA champion is scheduled to meet with the Kings on Thursday, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

McGee reportedly met with the the Clippers on Wednesday.

With two remaining roster spots available, is it possible that the Warriors bring back McGee and Zaza Pachulia?

"They want to get JaVale back if possible, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen," NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole said on Wednesday night.

As for Pachulia:

"He wants to come back," Poole declared. "They like what he did for them last year. So I would say that there's a really good chance he'll be back."

Pachulia made $2.9 million with Golden State last year.

The Warriors could use non-bird rights to give Pachulia up to a 20 percent raise -- about $3.5 million.

Or, he could return on the veteran minimum -- $2.3 million.

McGee averaged 6.1 points and 3.2 rebounds over just 9.6 minutes per game with Golden State last season.

If he ends up in Sacramento, he would join a frontcourt that includes Zach Randolph, Skal Labissiere, Willie Cauley-Stein, Kosta Koufos, Georgios Papagiannis and rookie Harry Giles.
