Curry Accepts Shot Challenge, Donates $118,000 to Help Aid Hurricane Harvey Victims

Stephen Curry has come forward with a six-figure donation to help relief efforts to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

In an Instagram video posted by Active Faith Sports, brand owner Lanny Smith enlisted the help of Curry to help raise funds for the cause. Smith, whose business is based out of Houston, said that for every shot (out of 25) that is made, he'd donate $1,000. He then stepped aside to reveal Curry as his designated shot maker.

The Warriors point guard made 18 of 25 shots. He then announced he'd not only match the $18,000 but also contribute another $100,000 to the relief efforts.

"Our prayers to the family. We've got your back!" Curry said after his final shot.
