Stephen Curry is a Carolina fan through and through, but the Warriors superstar was seen sporting the Silver and Black at this weekend's game between the Raiders and Curry's hometown Panthers, which the Raiders won 35-32.
Curry tweeted Sunday evening to explain the photo of him in a Derek Carr jersey was the result of a lost bet.
"Never a doubt I'm riding with my @Panthers 4eva. #KeepPounding in my blood! But A bet is a bet! #RaiderNation y'all know how to do it right!"
Curry didn't sport the Raiders jersey all game, however, as evidenced by Ayesha Curry's Instagram post depicting Stephen in a Panthers jersey and hat.
According to his tweet, Curry's teammate Kevin Durant, whose allegience lies with Washington, also attended the game. And he also showed Raider Nation love: "I'm a Washington Redskin until I die but that atmosphere in the coliseum for a Raider game is just.....wow! Great game, sorry @StephenCurry30"
Give @StephenCurry30 credit, he's a good sport. @RAIDERS. Just Win Baby! pic.twitter.com/wkDP54rHaQ— Marc J. Spears (@MarcJSpearsESPN) November 28, 2016
