Did the Cavs win last year's title, or did the Warriors choke?
HBO's Bill Simmons asked that question to Paul Pierce.
"It was a ... oh man ... Golden State choked," Pierce answered. "Like seriously. I mean, 3-1? You're not supposed to lose.
"3-1, you should never lose. Golden State choked."
The Warriors became the first team to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals before losing three straight.
Pierce, who is on the Clippers but has yet to play in a game this season, recently referred to J.J. Redick as the best shooter in the NBA.
