Expect Curry More Dangerous Than Ever With Durant on Warriors

Player: Stephen Curry

Position: Point guard

Height/weight: 6-3, 190.

Age: 28

Salary: $12.11 million (Year 4 of a four-year contract)

2015-16 in review: Unanimous MVP, his second consecutive MVP award, led NBA in scoring (30.1 points per game), 3-pointers (a single-season record 402), steals (2.14 per game), free throw percentage (90.8), win shares (17.9), player efficiency (31.5) and true shooting percentage (66.9). Curry became the third player in NBA history to enter the 50-45-90 Club (field-goal percentage, 3-point percentage, free throw percentage) and also became the first guard to average 30 points on 50-percent shooting since Michael Jordan in 1991-92. Curry established himself as a singular force, revolutionizing the way offense is generated.

2016-17 outlook: Curry is the sun around which the Warriors revolve, and that will not change with the addition of fellow superstar Kevin Durant. If anything, life will be noticeably easier for Curry, Durant's arrival will make it much tougher for defenses to cheat in his direction. Curry's percentages could rise, as should his assist totals. In short, the back-to-back MVP could be more dangerous than ever before.

Floor: A top-10 player and another trip to All-Star Weekend.

Ceiling: Another MVP award, becoming the first player since Larry Bird (1984-85-86) to win three in a row.
