2015-16 in review: After a relatively slow start, Thompson had his best season, raising his scoring average (22.1) for the fifth consecutive year while also shooting his highest percentage (47.0) from the floor and grabbing a career-high 3.8 rebounds per game. He had four games of at least 40 points and another 13 with at least 30.

2016-17 outlook: With the addition of four-time scoring champ Kevin Durant, Thompson can use movement and a variety of screens to get more open looks than ever. He shoots as well as anyone, and will be asked to score. He also will, as usual, be tasked with defending the opponent's most dangerous scoring threat at guard.
Floor: He struggles with post-Olympics fatigue and it shows at one or both ends.
Ceiling: He unleashes his vast all-around potential and solidifies his stardom.
