Report: Warriors Agree to One-year Deal With G Elliot Williams

The Warriors will go into this season with a much different roster than the last two that saw them play in back-to-back NBA Finals.

On Monday, Golden State reportedly added another new piece. Guard Elliot Williams and the Warriors reportedly agreed to a one-year deal, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical

Williams, the No. 22 pick by the Blazers in the 2010 NBA Draft out of the University of Memphis, played in five games for the Grizzlies last season. He averaged 1.6 points per game with the Grizzlies.

The Warriors are well familiar with Williams as he shined with their D-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, last year. In 21 games played, Williams averaged 28.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

Since making his debut with Portland in the 2011-12 season, Williams has averaged 4.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

If he makes the Warriors' roster, Williams joins a backcourt of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Shaun Livingston, Ian Clark and rookie Patrick McCaw.
