Report: Warriors Agree to Terms With Cook on Two-way Contract

The Warriors added a player to the mix on Tuesday morning.

Golden State agreed to terms with Quinn Cook on a two-way contract, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Cook -- a 6'2" guard -- went undrafted in 2015 after four years at Duke.

He spent training training camp and the preseason with the Hawks, but was waived late last week.

Last year, he appeared in 14 NBA games -- five with the Mavericks and nine with the Pelicans -- and averaged 5.6 points and 1.9 assists while shooting over 42 percent from deep.

In 39 games for the Canton Charge (the Cleveland Cavaliers' affiliate), Cook averaged 26 points and 6.7 assists per contest.

He was named MVP of the G League All-Star Game.

In 2015-16, he averaged 19.6 points and 5.4 assists for the Charge and was named G League Rookie of the Year.

What is a two-way contract? Glad you asked:

NBA teams may have up to two players under NBA Two-Way Contracts who will spend the bulk of the season in the NBA G League and not more than 45 days with their NBA team.

Two-Way players are paid a corresponding daily amount based on the number of days they play in each league. Only players with four or fewer years of NBA service are able to sign Two-Way Contracts, which can be for either one or two seasons.

Chris Boucher agreed to terms on a two-way deal with the Warriors back in late June.

The Santa Cruz Warriors open their season on Friday, Nov. 3.
