The NBA All-Star Game may be returning to the Bay Area.
The Warriors submitted a bid to host the annual event, according to an ESPN report.
The earliest this could happen is 2021.
The Chase Center in San Francisco is scheduled to open for the start of the 2019-20 season.
The privately-financed arena will be a regional site for the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
Golden State last hosted All-Star Weekend in 2000.
