The investment round would raise the Farmivlle-makers valuation to somewhere between $7 and $9 billion. The company already has $500 million.

The funding could be secured within the next several weeks. The company is just one of many Bay Area startups that have been securing huge amounts of money recently.

Zynga is also notorious for using that money to spoil its employees. The company serves its employees free lunch and dinner everyday, has no set limit on vacation days and it has happy hour every Friday.
