Aurora Watch Has No Face Yet Still Tells Time

advertisement

The Aurora watch doesn't have a proper face, yet it still tells you the time. How does it accomplish this feat? By magic! Well, if by magic, we mean lasers — which we do.

Rather than traditional hands, the Aurora will show you the hours and the minutes with thin beams of light off its transparent face. It's a neat concept, though we can imagine it faltering a little bit outdoors. Would you still be able to see the lasers? Maybe if the transparent face was reactive to light, and changed in a way that still made the laser lights visible?

Check out an extra shot down below for an example of designer Jihun Yeom's Aurora concept watch in action.
