Disgruntled AirBNB Users Inspire KinkBNB Startup

Travelers in search of accommodations that are open-minded to the practice of sex now have an online rental community tailored for their pursuits.

KinkBNB is a startup service for renting out sex-forward properties such as dungeons and porn studios inspired by a perceived void at AirBNB, which has been known to remove listings deemed offensive or vulgar. The Bay Area based site has listings for properties in 20 countries.

“It’s virtually impossible to travel if this is something that you do and it’s part of your lifestyle,” KinkBNB's Matias Drago told KQED. “You go across the country to your cousin’s wedding and you don’t know anyone else there who would understand. When you stay with one of our hosts, they’re very likely to know the community and connect you to people that would be on the same wavelength.”

KinkBNB is currently accessible by invitation only; a current user must provide an invitation code in order to gain entry to the community.

The site has allowed users to market their properties to an adult audience on social media.

"Book your kinky vacation," tweeted a Los Angeles user named Master Hercules.

Locally, KinkBNB sponsors a monthly event called the Dirty Talk Game Show at San Francisco's Cat Club.
