The wait is finally over for fans of gore, blood and all things Duke Nukem.
After more than a decade in the dark, the popular video game series -- and not so succesful movie -- is coming back with a new version.
"Duke Nukem Forever" will be released in the United States with a new developer on June 14.
"Today marks an amazing day in the annals of gaming lore, the day where the legend of 'Duke Nukem Forever' is finally complete and it takes that final step towards becoming a reality," Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K Games, told DailyTech.
The first-person shooter game will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms.
