Facebook Is Calling All Hackers

    Facebook wants hackers to try and solve its difficult problems.

    Facebook wants you to think hacking when you think the Social Network.

    Get your ex out of your head because that's not the type of hacking Facebook is talking about. The Palo Alto-based social networking site is talking about its 2011 Hacker Cup.

    The company will invite the top 25 international hackers from an online competition that begins Dec. 20 to its headquarters to face off.

    Each hacker will be dealth difficult algorithmic-based problems that they will be asked to hack. The top hacker will take home a $5,000 prize from a company valued at at least $6.5 billion. Second place will download a $2,000, while third place nets $1,000.

    The top 300 hackers online will get a T-shirt to commemorate the competition.
