Future Airplane 'AMELIA' Tested in Air Force Wind Tunnel
A 1:11 scale model of a futuristic airplane is tested in the world's second-largest wind tunnel at the National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex at Moffett Field, Calif. The plane would hold 150 passengers and is being called the next 737. Future Airplane 'AMELIA' Tested in Air Force Wind Tunnel
A model of a futuristic airplane called "AMELIA" is tested in the gigantic wind tunnel at Moffett Field in Mountain View. The plane, which some are calling the next 737, has engines above its wings to reduce noise. It will also be able to take off and land at much smaller airports thanks to its improved lift.
