Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” Concerts Will Stream Live on YouTube, But Not For Free

Missed the Grateful Dead train to see the band's last concerts?

You can watch it on your couch: Grateful Dead's final Bay Area "Fare Thee Well" shows at Levi's Stadium on June 27-28 will stream live on YouTube, the band announced in a press release.

Officially, both shows sold out in minutes, although tickets might still be available through resale websites such as StubHub.

According to Radio.com, the YouTube stream will be accessible on Android, iOS, Chromecast, Apple TV, Samsung and Panasonic Smart TVs, Xbox360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and WiiU devices.

Access to YouTube's stream will cost $19.95 per show for the performances in Santa Clara and $29.95 per show for the July 3-5 performances in Chicago, the latter gigs being the last of the final concerts.

There is also a scheduled webcast via MLB.com with the same prices for individual shows, plus an option that allows fans to purchase access to all five shows for $109.95.

The concerts will also be live on pay-per-view television.
