Still thinking of trying to get a hotel for this weekend's Super Bowl madness?
An app called HotelTonight is offering last-minute hotel rooms in San Francisco and in the South Bay for Friday through Sunday.
Rooms in San Francisco this weekend can be found in the high $200 range, while rooms in Palo Alto can be found in the mid-$100 range, a representative of the company told NBC Bay Area.
The company saw an influx of options once the teams playing in the Super Bowl were determined. Scores of hotel room reservations were subsequently canceled and made available.
There are also plenty of accommodations on sites like Airbnb which, according to The Chronicle, could be the result of too many people hoping to score too big on the prices.
