Internet TV Blip: Disney, Yahoo Chat

Yahoo is in the news for something other than layoffs and management speculation.

The Silicon Valley company, according to the Wall Street Journal, has had talks with Disney to stream content from the latter's television network.

The shows would flow through televisions that already have the Yahoo streaming software embedded.

Of course Apple's hobby is internet TV. And Google's been fighting its own interior demons as it pursues more living-room time with Americans and their sets.

And Cisco's announcement at last week's CES shows many big-time players are in this poker game.

Who's drawing dead? Whoever doesn't land the content that lands the eyeballs. Just like always.
