Jim Carrey Tweets Daughter's Wedding News

We assume Jim Carrey lost the beard in order to play Ebeneezer Scrooge.
While he waits to become a grandfather, Jim Carrey added a new familial title to his resume – father-in-law.
The comedian's 21-year-old daughter, Jane Carrey, recently tied the knot, according to Jim's Twitter page.

"my Jane is a married women [sic]. days ago her and me new son in law alex got hitched," Jim tweeted on Wednesday. "the day was simply perfect… lots of love there."
On Thursday, the actor issued a statement confirming the nuptials.

"It was a beautiful day. Simple and sweet,"Carrey said in a statement to People. "I wish them everything that love has given us."
As previously reported in July, Jane is pregnant with her first child with then-fiance-now-husband rocker Alex Santana.
"I am very excited," Jim said at the time. "Jane is going to be a great mom."

Jane is Jim's daughter from his first marriage to Melissa Carrey. The couple divorced in 1995 after nearly a decade of marriage.
Jim later married actress Lauren Holly in 1996 before divoricing in 1997.
He has been dating Jenny McCarthy since 2005.
