Being color blind really sucks, and in some situations it can even be dangerous, especially if you forget which end of the traffic light is supposed to be red. These glasses are designed to fix the problem, with special filters that enhance some colors while filtering out others.

Color blindness comes in several different forms, so the EnChroma lenses are available in four different versions to solve various problems. You can get them as complete glasses in a variety of frames options, or as lenses which your optometrist can fit in your choice of frames. The lenses also come in a prescription version for folks who need corrective lenses.

The EnChroma glasses were launched last week at the Vision Expo West in Las Vegas, but it's not clear when they will be available for purchase.
