Qualcomm Pulls the Plug on FLO TV

FLO TV struggled to garner enough interest.

Are you one of the few who actually bought TV service for your portable TV?

If you happen to have invested in FLO TV, the makers of the subscription-based broadcast television service are willing to give you your money back.

Qualcomm has decided to pull the plug on FLO TV, a move that will eventually safe its maker money. Qualcomm has said it will refund customers who purchased its battery-powered portable television, an Audiovox-branded portable DVD player/TV set and an in-car entertainment system.

The problem is, not too many people actually bought the product so it's cheaper for Qualcomm in the long run to pull the service and reimburse people than to actually continue with the product.
