Report: Apple to Lease Office Space in North San Jose

Apple might be soon taking a bite of San Jose.

The company, which hasn't had an office in the city since the late 1980s, has reportedly signed a lease for the 300,000-square-foot 101 Tech campus in north San Jose. The building was previously used by Amtel and now owned by Ellis Partners real estate firm.

Apple has not confirmed publicly on the deal or what the space would be used for, but multiple sources have confirmed the signing to Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The publication noted that this deal would be in addition to Apple's current expansion into the South Bay, including the recent leasing of 345,000 square feet of office space in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.
