Tabletmania: Apple iPad Spotted on the Web?

You may be able to get your hand on Apple's tablet next spring. Do you care?

Reminding us of how kids look out the window for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, geeks all over the world are craning to spot Apple's upcoming tablet, reportedly named iPad.

Mobile apps analytics firm Flurry might have hit paydirt, allegedly tracing 50 Apple tablets since last October, running 200 different apps.

We can't tell for sure if this is indicating the new tablet in use, a new iPhone, or both. It is notable that most of the apps downloaded and launched were games. Ah, gaming. Could that be the killer app for an Apple tablet?

Will there even be an Apple tablet? Does anyone care any more?
