An internship here is the most-coveted position in all of Silicon Valley.

The most-sought after job in Silicon Valley is a Facebook internship, according to the co-founder of Hired.com.

Engineers fluent in Ruby on Rails -- the programming language used for web apps -- and managers of data and engineers are all very lucrative, with salaries ranging from $120,000 a year to $200,000 or more, according to Fortune.

However, none of those positions are quite as sought after as a 10-week, $20,000 stint in Menlo Park at Facebook, Fortune reported.

Internships at the social network are the most sought-after gig in Silcon Valley, ahead of senior iOS software engineers, VPs of engineering, data scientists, and senior Ruby on Rails engineers, respectively.
