    Mobile ride-share service Uber is offering free rides during the Thanksgiving holiday.

    The company says it is "giving thanks" to South Bay riders for the big response to its new low cost option UberX.

    Starting Monday, through Dec. 1, the company is offering two free rides to everyone in the South Bay. The only restriction is, rides must begin or end in Silicon Valley.
