Upgrade Your iPad to 4G for $60 a Month

Dress up your iPad, thanks to Sprint.

Just in time for Apple to reveal the emergence of its late-arriving 3G-connected iPad on May 7, Sprint goes one better, offering a free iPad case if you sign a contract for its nifty little 4G Overdrive wireless hotspot device tucked into its side pocket.

If the coveted 4G network isn't available in your area yet, Sprint's Overdrive will fall back to 3G, still giving you connectivity in most places. We've been using our Verizon MiFi 3G mobile hotspot with the iPad, and it works beautifully. Only problem is, it's 60 bucks a month with a contract versus the upcoming iPad 3G's $30-a-month, pay-as-you-go plan.
