Wealthy San Francisco Consumes More Internet Porn Than Poor Parts of America, Report Claims

Porn habits similar across the country, but priorities can shift.

More money means more pornography.

San Francisco and other wealthier enclaves of the United States consume more pornography per capita -- and more specific types of porn -- than poorer parts of the country, PandoDaily reports.

The tech website uses data from PornHub, which in addition to providing smut free of charge, also keeps track of which users are watching what.

That might sound reminiscient of the NSA, but for now, observe the results. Observe the "Porn Gap."

Richer places consumed more porn, with an average of 9.44 page views, compared to 6.74 page views for the top 10 poorest places in the USA, PornHub says.

The top five search terms are the same across the United States, PandoDaily found, with one exception: "Asian" is the top search term for porn in San Jose, and No. 2 in San Francisco.
