A manager holds an Apple iPhone (L) and Motorola's new Droid smart phone (R) sold through Verizon at the Verizon store.
Most of the hot smartphones these days use touchscreens.
But which touchscreen is the best? You could rely on people's opinions, but that's not very scientific. That's why Moto had a robot test all of the major phones to see how they stacked up.
The results? The iPhone was the clear winner, with the Google Nexus one behind it. Coming in last was the Motorola Droid, which didn't do great with a medium touch and was a real mess with a light touch.
So now you know, and next time someone tells you that the HTC Droid Eris has a better touchscreen than the iPhone, you can dispute that claim with robotic evidence.
