If you know anyone at Yahoo's New York office, go ahead and call them this morning and listen to their voicemail message.
Here's what you will hear:
"You have reached a non-working number that has recently been assigned to Yahoo. I don't know who you think you'll find here, but you won't."
That is followed by a busy signal, so you can't leave a message for your desired party.
Workers in New York noticed the hack-job Monday morning.
We are asking Yahoo's corporate types in Sunnyvale if they are aware of the problem and if it has spread anywhere outside New York City.
If the calendar said April 1, this would be an easy one to figure out.
As they say in television. Stay tuned.
