Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi visited Yelp Wednesday. The review website opened its doors at the newly renovated PacBell Building in the SoMa neighborhood.
Yelp is moving its headquarters into one of San Francisco's most historic and storied buildings.
The review website on Wednesday opened its doors at the newly renovated PacBell Building in the SOMA district.
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, along with Mayor Ed Lee, attended the event to remind the company of the historic significance of the building.
Part of the building's history include Winston Churchill making one of the first Trans-Atlantic phone calls in 1929.
"Taking up residence at 140 New Montgomery is certainly one of Yelp's most important milestones," said Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman.
