Burning Man Parody Wants to Build Wall to Prevent Attendees From Coming Home

A parody captures the Bay Area's sizable tide of annual anti-Burning Man sentiment by proposing the construction of a 300-mile wall to keep revelers from returning to the Bay Area.

According to a fake crowdfunding campaign devised by Cultivated Wit, the fantasy wall, which has raised billions of dollars in imaginary pledges, would be constructed from Point Reyes to Santa Cruz during the week that everyone is on the playa in Black Rock City, Nevada, so that they cannot come back home.

"For the rest of us, what’s normally our favorite week of the year… lasts forever!"

Since it's not a real fundraising campaign, you can't donate to make this cause a reality. But you can buy an "I [Wall] SF" T-shirt to show your theoretical support.
