Naked Burglar Caught on Tape

The sexual nature of the crime says he needs to be caught before he harms someone.

A naked man burglarized two Abington Township homes Friday afternoon, removing women’s underwear and clothing from drawers, and stealing a laptop.

The suspect was caught on a security camera entering one apartment clothed. He left the apartment completely naked.

"He took my laptop, just trashed everything in the room...when he heard the police were coming, he snuck back out without clothes on -- by the way," Joyce Ru said Monday. Her roommate came face-to-face with the man before fleeing to another apartment.

The suspect wrote in magic marker and lipstick in the second victim’s home, which was across the street from the apartment building, said police. We can only imagine what creepy message he left.

Hours before the burglaries on Old York Road, the same man exposed himself to a woman.

Maybe we’ve seen Silence of the Lambs one too many times, but this guy sounds alarmingly dangerous. If a man is robbing homes, sifting through women’s underwear and leaving the scene of the crime completely naked, he’s not too far away from Buffalo Bill behavior.

The suspect is a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11, thin to medium build, and dark hair thinning on top.

Police are analyzing a set of keys they believe the man dropped during the home invasions, looking for clues and fingerprints. They want this man indentified and arrested as soon as possible because of the sexual aspects to the burglaries.

Obviously Police are getting a Buffalo Bill feeling too.
