Niceville Woman Returned to Jail After Shoe Attack

Don't ever come between an owner and her dog -- even in Niceville.

The Northwest Florida Daily News first reported that Michela Ann Jensen, 28, her father and grandmother were enjoying a birthday cookout at her father's house last Thursday in Niceville, Fla., when Jensen learned that her father had given her dog away while she was in jail.

She then attempted to attack her grandmother with a shoe. Jensen's father reportedly intervened and both sides accused each other of attacking one another.

Jensen had only just been released from prison Feb. 23 after being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill against her father, the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office told NBC.

Her newfound freedom was short lived as she was charged with assault and battery. Her court date is set for April 23, the Northwest Florida Daily News reported.

There have been no reports on the whereabouts of her dog.
