Strange story out of Vacaville. Police arrested a man Friday for allegedly breaking into someone's home, wearing the resident's underwear and masturbating.
A neighbor was looking after a home where the suspect was found inside. The neighbor spotted the suspect who then grabbed a towel and left, according to the Police Department.
Detectives identified Garland Viertal, 43, as the suspect and believed the sole purpose of allegedly breaking into the home was to commit a crime to further sexual gratification, police said.
Viertal was taken into custody without incident and booked in Solano County Jail, police said.
No word on what kind of underwear he was wearing at the time he was arrested.
